1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of pest control services by Andrew Freeman trading as AF Pest Control (“we”, “us”, “our”) to you (“the client”, “you”). By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Services Provided
We provide pest control services including inspection, treatment, eradication, and prevention for domestic and commercial properties.
The scope of each service will be detailed in your booking confirmation, written quotation, or verbal agreement prior to the service.
3. Prices and Payment Terms
Prices are provided upfront via quotation, email, phone, or through the website.
Full payment is required in advance of any treatment unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Payment methods accepted include:
Bank transfer
Cash (by prior agreement)
Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received.
If payment is not made within the time requested, we reserve the right to cancel the appointment.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled appointment will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may incur a call-out fee of ÂŁ70.00 or a deduction from the upfront payment to cover lost time and expenses.
If we are unable to deliver the service due to circumstances within our control, you will receive a full refund.
Refunds are not provided if a treatment fails due to factors outside our control, including but not limited to:
Failure to follow pre-treatment or post-treatment advice
Re-infestation from external sources
Where multiple treatments are required (as agreed upon), payment terms will be outlined at the time of booking.
5. Client Responsibilities
You must provide safe, reasonable access to the property for us to perform the treatment.
You are responsible for following all advice given before and after the service, including preparation and post-treatment instructions.
Pets and children should be kept away from treated areas as advised.
6. Health and Safety
All treatments comply with applicable health and safety regulations, including the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and Control of Pesticides Regulations 1986.
Products used are professional-grade and applied by trained operatives.
Safety data sheets can be provided upon request for all substances used.
7. Insurance
We hold appropriate Public Liability Insurance covering the services we provide.
Evidence of insurance is available upon request.
8. Liability
We will deliver our services with reasonable skill and care.
Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided. We are not responsible for:
Loss of profits
Loss of business or revenue
Indirect or consequential losses
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
9. Complaints
We aim to provide excellent service. If you are dissatisfied, please contact us immediately to discuss the issue.
Complaints should be raised within 7 days of the service date to enable us to respond effectively.
10. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to deliver services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, illness, or government restrictions.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by English law.
Disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
