Andy responded quickly to our enquiry, arrived on time and and was polite and very thorough when looking at possible entrance points around the property. He was happy to advise on humane and environmentally harmless options (e.g. if going down the poison route: ones that don't accumulate in the food chain), and once we'd trapped and released the unwanted visitor, he mouse-proofed the suspected entry points for us. Highly recommended.

Cambridgeshire bed bug Heat Treatments

Using a heat treatment  is widely accepted as the most effective way of getting rid of Bed Bugs, Fleas and many other types of insects.

Heat treatments for bed bug treatment kill the adult bed bugs as well as the eggs and nymph stages of their life cycle, providing the best treatment.

Insecticide Spray Treatments for bed bugs in cambridge

Insecticide spray treatments are sometimes all that is needed to treat Bed Bugs. It is important that the person that is doing the spray treatment is properly trained and uses a suitable insecticide. Some Bed Bugs are resistant to insecticides, many shop bought sprays will not be effective and a waste of your money. Always use a professional company.

Before The Treatment

Our Comprehensive Bed Bug Treatment Process

At AF Pest Control, we follow a meticulous, multi-stage process to ensure a safe, thorough, and effective eradication of bed bugs from your home or business:

  1. Initial Inspection
Our highly trained technicians perform a complete inspection of your property. We check common hiding places—including bedding, furniture crevices, and even behind wall hangings—using modern detection tools alongside a detailed visual assessment.

  2. Customised Treatment Plan
Once we confirm the infestation, we develop a tailored treatment plan. We outline the treatment methods, which may include chemical applications, heat treatments, steam or whole room, along with an estimated timeline and cost. This plan is discussed with you in full detail so you know exactly what to expect.

  3. Safe and Effective Treatment
Using UK-approved products and industry-standard techniques, our technicians execute the treatment safely. We combine different methods where necessary to target both the bugs and their eggs, ensuring thorough elimination while keeping your family and pets safe.

  4. Post-Treatment Inspection & Follow-Up
After treatment, we schedule a follow-up visit to confirm that all bed bugs have been eradicated. If any remnants are detected, additional treatments are provided promptly to ensure complete clearance.

  5. Preventative Advice and Maintenance
Finally, we offer expert advice on preventing future infestations. Our team will share practical tips and, if needed, schedule regular inspections to help maintain a pest-free environment.
